The Intel Core i7-6700 is a processor of the sixth generation from Intels Core-i7 series. The processor has 4 physical and supports Intels hyperthreading technology, with which 8 logical cores will be made from the 4 physical nuclei when needed and so more arithmetic operations can be performed at once.

The cores of the Intel Core i7-6700 have a base clock of 3.40 gigahertz. In the so-called turbomodus, the cycle increases up to 3.70 gigahertz with utilization of all cores and even up to 4.00 gigahertz in the utilization of a single core. Unfortunately, the processor can not be overclocked that the models with a "K" at the end of the processor designation, in this case, is reserved for the Intel Core i7-6700K.

The graphics unit is the Intel Core i7-6700 used the Intel HD Graphics 530. This graphic unit has a basic clock frequency of 350 megahertz and a maximum dynamic clock frequency of 1.15 gigahertz.
