Intel Core i9-10920X
Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The Intel Core i9-10920X is a processor that draws its strength from the Cascade Lake architecture. It was manufactured using the 14nm process and was specifically designed for demanding desktop workloads. We were able to see its compelling multi-core performance for ourselves at the time. With its twelve cores and 24 threads, this chip could truly handle many tasks in parallel.

This is particularly beneficial for applications that benefit from a high number of processing cores. We see that the Intel Core i9-10920X still reliably and stably handles complex computing tasks today. An important advantage was the generous 19 MB Level 3 cache. This enables fast access to frequently used data, which supports overall performance.

The memory bandwidth of 94 GB per second also ensured smooth data exchange. In addition, the processor supports PCIe 3.0, which offered extensive expansion options. In Cinebench 2024, it achieves 70 points in the single-core test. In the multi-core measurement, it still achieves 922 points. The Intel Core i9-10920X remains a solid choice for specific, compute-intensive applications.
  • High multi-core performance
  • Generous Level 3 cache
  • Good memory bandwidth
  • PCIe 3.0 support
