Benchmarks


The AMD A8-6600K is a desktop/server processor with 4 cores and 4 threads and comes from the 3rd generation of the AMD A series, among others it also belongs to the AMD A8-6000 CPU group. The processor uses a motherboard with an FM2 socket and was released in the second quarter of 2013 with a retail price of $85.

The AMD A8-6600K is overclockable but does not support hyperthreading. The base clock frequency is 3.90 GHz, the turbo clock frequency of one core is 4.20 GHz and 4 cores is also 4.20 GHz.

The AMD A8-6600K has an integrated graphics (iGPU) called AMD Radeon HD 8570D, with a clock frequency of 840 MHz, but it does not have a turbo. The integrated graphics are based on 4 units and 256 shaders, with a maximum memory of 2 GB. The AMD Radeon HD 8570D comes from the fifth generation and supports DirectX 11.2. It was manufactured with 32 nm and appeared for the first time in the second quarter of 2013. The AMD A8-6600K can decode h264, AVC, VC-1 and decode and encode JPEG.
