The Apple M3 Ultra, with its impressive 28-CPU and 60-GPU cores, is certainly a top-of-the-line product. This system on a chip, or SoC, was manufactured using advanced 3-nanometer fabrication technology. This indicates remarkable energy efficiency, even under high load. Particularly noteworthy is the enormous maximum memory bandwidth of 819 GB/s.

This enables fast data access and supports complex workflows very well.

The integrated 60-core graphics unit, officially called Apple M3 Ultra (60 Core), delivers excellent graphics performance. This makes the chip ideal for demanding creative applications. In Cinebench 2024, the processor scored 141 points in the single-core test.

In the multi-core test, it even achieved an impressive 2700 points. We were ourselves somewhat surprised at how consistently the computing power scaled here. The extensive Level 2 cache of 80 MB certainly contributes to the fast processing of data. The entire M3 architecture is designed for maximum performance.

It also supports PCIe 4.0 for modern expansion cards. This chip is clearly intended for professional users. It should effortlessly handle complex simulations or high-resolution video editing.
