The Intel Core i7-3930K was once a remarkable piece of hardware. This processor is based on the proven Sandy Bridge E architecture. With its six cores and twelve threads, it offered a lot of computing power upon release. It handled complex tasks and demanding applications with considerable efficiency.

The 32 nm manufacturing process was a technical milestone at the time. Particularly noteworthy is the generous Level 3 cache of 12 MB. This contributed significantly to fast data processing and supported the performance. In addition, the high memory capacity of 51 GB/s enabled smooth multitasking.

For enthusiasts, the unlocked multiplier was a real gift. Overclockers could further push the limits of performance here. Even today, this processor can still suffice for everyday tasks. We ourselves were surprised at how robust this architecture proved to be. It remains a solid base for older systems or retro builds.
