The performance in benchmarks is compared and evaluated with the respective price of the processor. When it comes to prices, we use the manufacturer's recommended retail price for the processor. This also allows us to include mobile processors that cannot otherwise be purchased individually in this list.

It's not always easy to find the best processor for your needs. While many visitors only pay attention to the theoretical speed of a processor, others want to read detailed test reports that also deal with the processor's speed in practice. Therefore, we have collected a large number of benchmarks in order to meet as many requirements as possible.

We have not only listed our results for you in map form at the top of this page, but also in a clear table at the bottom of this page. So everyone can quickly find their way around and find the best processor for themselves.

How is the price-performance ratio determined in detail?

To determine a processor's value for money, we divide the Geekbench 5 multi-core value by the processor's recommended retail price. Using the recommended retail price has the advantage that we can also include mobile processors on this list of the best. Otherwise, the price of the CPU cannot be determined correctly for notebooks.

In this case, we selected Geekbench 5 as the benchmark because the benchmark can be run on a large number of devices (e.g. also on Apple notebooks with an ARM command set) and because the benchmark not only includes the pure computing power of the CPU but also the speed of the built-in RAM in the benchmark -Incorporates the result.
