The Intel Core i9-13900KF is a high-end processor from the 13th generation of the Intel Core i series. It has a total of 24 CPU cores and can process 32 threads simultaneously. The core structure is hybrid and consists of two different types. The larger and faster P cores of the Intel Core i9-13900KF are based on Intels "Raptor Cove" architecture, while the smaller E cores are based on Intels "Gracemont" or Intel Atom technology.

Due to the hybrid structure, the processor is very economical with low to medium loads. However, due to the overall very high computing power, the processor needs quite a lot of energy under full load and good cooling is therefore required.

An AIO water cooling system with at least a 240, but better a 280 or 360 radiator has proven to be the most suitable. AIO water cooling has the advantage of inertia and can therefore react much better to the very fast heat development of the processor.

The P cores of the Intel Core i9-13900KF have a clock frequency of 3.0 GHz, which can be increased to up to 5.8 GHz in turbo mode. By overclocking the processor, the 6.0 GHz can also be realistically achieved here with good cooling. The 16 smaller E cores clock at 2.2 GHz and can be operated at up to 4.3 GHz in turbo mode.

Up to 128 GB of RAM in a maximum of 4 modules can be connected to the processor. DDR4 and DDR5 memory modules are officially supported, the latter up to the DDR5-5600 standard. Higher clock frequencies such as DDR5-6000 or higher are possible by overclocking the main memory.

The TDP of the Intel Core i9-13900KF is 125 watts. However, 250 watts of energy are permanently available under full load, so that the processor heats up relatively quickly. The processor has a total of 68 MB cache (Level 2 + Level 3).
