The Intel Core i9-14900KF, based on the Raptor Lake S Refresh architecture, remains a truly potent processor for demanding users. Although it has been available for a while, it still shows what it can do, especially in compute-intensive applications and modern games. We were actually surprised by how good its performance still is and how relevant it remains.

In Cinebench 2024, the processor achieved a remarkable 139 points in the single-core test and a proud 2177 points in the multi-core test. This speaks to its excellent single-core performance and the impressive ability to handle many tasks simultaneously. Particularly noteworthy is the raw computing power of this chip, making it an excellent choice for those who may not want to compromise on performance.

The KF in the name indicates that it does not have an integrated graphics unit, which is irrelevant for most high-end systems that use a dedicated graphics card anyway. Its overclocking capabilities are certainly a plus for tinkerers. It may not be the very latest thing, but it definitely still has a lot to offer.
