Comparison of the two processors

The Intel Core i9-13900K and Intel Core i9-13900KF are very similar and identical except for the integrated graphics unit, which the Intel Core i9-13900KF lacks.

Intel has been selling processors without integrated graphics since the 9th generation of the Intel Core i series. These are slightly cheaper in price. Since high-performance computers usually integrate a dedicated graphics card via the PCIe slot, they can then do without the iGPU. In the case of processors with iGPU, this is usually automatically deactivated by the mainboard if the mainboard recognizes a dedicated graphics card.

However, iGPU and dedicated graphics card can also be used together. To do this, the computer screen is connected to the iGPU and not to the graphics card. The image signal is then passed on to the graphics card from the iGPU/mainboard if required. The use of iGPU and graphics card can sometimes make sense, e.g. the dedicated graphics card can be put into sleep mode when the graphics load is low to save energy.
