The AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U is an 8-core processor that can handle the use of SMT up to 16 threads at the same time. The clock frequency of the mobile processor is quite low 1.7 GHz and can be raised via Turbo to up to 4.1 GHz (sink load). In applications that utilize more than one CPU core, the clock frequency is at most 3.1 GHz. Through its 8 cores, the processor is also suitable for more demanding tasks.

If the processor is operated with 15 Watt TDP, the maximum possible clock frequency is leased quickly when using multiple cores. The processor can also be operated in devices with sufficient cooling but also with a CTDP or TDPUP of 25 watts.

The processor holds up on the monolithic AMD Renoir Design and has 8 MB Level 3 cache. Although this is less compared to the normal Ryzen 3xxx (Zen 2 CPU cores), there is no major performance difference in the vast majority applications. The Renoir APUs are manufactured in the current 7 Nm manufacturing process. The biggest difference compared to the AM4-Zen 2 processors is the integration of an AMD VEGA graphic directly in the processor (IGPU).

Up to 32 GB of memory from AMD Ryzen 7 per 4750U from type DDR4-3200 or LPDDR-4266 can be addressed. The dual-channel mode of the memory is supported. By using at least two memory modules, the memory bandwidth of the system can be doubled. The internal graphics card also benefits from this bandwidth doubling, as the processor reserves up to 2 GB of work memory as a graphics memory.

The AMD Ryzen 7 per 4750U is soldered directly to the mainboard in the FP6 socket and can not be exchanged later. The processor provides 12 PCIe 3.0 lines for connecting ports or devices such as a modern M.2 SSD.
