Description of the processor

The AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5750G has eight CPU cores and can process 16 threads simultaneously. The clock frequency of the processor is 3.8 GHz in the base and 4.6 GHz in the turbo. The AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5750G is almost identical to the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, but has been expanded to include some business functions that are similar to Intel vPRO technology.

The CPU design of the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5750G is based on the AMD Cezanne architecture, which combines Zen 3 CPU cores with a fairly strong, integrated graphics unit. Thanks to the PCIe 3.0 interface with 12 lines, the connection of external devices is significantly lower than what the full-fledged Vermeer desktop CPUs from AMD (Ryzen 5000X) offer. These rely on PCIe 4.0, which doubles the bandwidth of the PCIe lines compared to PCIe 3.0.

The AMD Radeon 8 Graphics (Renoir) is used as the iGPU, which has 8 execution units and 512 texture shaders. The clock frequency of the graphics card is up to 2.0 GHz. The internal graphics unit depends on the speed of the main memory, since this is used as graphics memory and determines the bandwidth of the graphics card. The AMD Radeon 8 Graphics (Renoir) achieves an FP32 computing power of 2 TFLOP/s.

The AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5750G can address up to 64 GB of RAM, a maximum of DDR4-3200 is supported, but higher clock frequencies of the RAM outside of the AMD specification are usually not a problem. The bandwidth when using two memory channels and DDR4-3200 RAM is 51.2 GB/s.

The AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5750G has 16 MB level 3 cache and 4 MB level 2 cache. Like the AMD Ryzen 5000X processors, it fits into the AM4 socket and is manufactured in 7 nm at TSMC. AMD specifies the TDP of the processor as 65 watts, but the real consumption can be slightly above this mark.
