The AMD Ryzen 3 3300X, a processor from AMD, demonstrated remarkable performance upon its introduction. It is based on the Zen 2 architecture (Matisse) and was manufactured using the 7 nm process. This was very advanced at the time and contributed to its efficiency. With its four cores and eight threads, it offered a solid foundation for many tasks.

Its single-core performance, in particular, was attractive for price-conscious gamers. We were surprised at how well it still performs in some applications today. The processor features 16 MB of L3 cache and 2 MB of L2 cache. Support for PCIe 4.0 offered a clear advantage for fast graphics cards and SSDs.

In Cinebench 2024, the AMD Ryzen 3 3300X achieved 78 points in single-core. For multi-core tasks, it achieves a respectable 400 points. Its maximum memory bandwidth is 51 GB/s. For everyday tasks and lighter games, it is still a reliable choice. This processor remains an interesting option for certain builds.
