The Intel Xeon E5-1650 v2 is a processor that found its role in many professional environments. Its production using the 22nm process was considered a technological advancement at the time. With its six cores and twelve threads, it delivered considerable multi-thread performance. This was a major advantage for applications that heavily benefited from parallel computations.

The robust Ivy Bridge EP architecture also provided a reliable computing base. Another appreciated feature was the generous 12 MB Level 3 Cache. This cache significantly accelerated access to frequently needed data. As a result, complex workflows could be processed noticeably more efficiently.

The maximum memory bandwidth of 60 GB/s also supported demanding processes. This Xeon proved to be a very consistent partner. It was an excellent choice for high-performance workstations and servers.
