The Intel Core i7-8700T comes from the well-known Coffee Lake S architecture and was manufactured using the 14 nm process. This processor offers six cores and twelve threads. That was a significant increase in computing power at the time. It still impresses today with very solid multitasking performance.

Of particular note is the remarkable energy efficiency of this T-model. It is an excellent choice for systems where low power consumption is important. Think of compact cases or quiet operation. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 is perfectly adequate for everyday tasks. It enables smooth display and supports all common multimedia applications.

With 12 MB Level 3 Cache, the Intel Core i7-8700T is well equipped. Connectivity via PCIe 3.0 is also available. Overall, this processor is still a reasonable option today. It handles office applications and general tasks reliably. We were surprised at the time how well the balance between performance and energy efficiency was achieved.
