The Intel Core i7-4710HQ was once a remarkable choice for high-performance notebooks. Based on the advanced Haswell H architecture, this processor benefited from the efficient 22 nm manufacturing process. Users appreciated its robust computing power, which was effortlessly sufficient for a variety of everyday applications.

A particularly positive feature was the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600. This enabled decent graphics performance for media playback and even for occasional gaming of less demanding titles. In addition, 6 MB Level 3 Cache ensured smooth and fast data processing, which improved overall system responsiveness.

Although the performance of the i7-4710HQ cannot directly compete with today's top processors, it still offers a quite functional basis in older systems. To enable an assessment of its capabilities in the current context, we use the Cinebench 2024 benchmark values. In the single-core test, the processor achieved 49 points.

In more demanding multi-core tasks, the chip delivered 197 points. We can state that it still reliably performs its service for basic tasks such as surfing the Internet, word processing or e-mails.
