The
Intel Pentium Silver N6005 is a 10th generation processor from Intels Pentium family. It was released in the first quarter of 2021 and is based on a monolithic Jasper Lake architecture chip design. The
Intel Pentium Silver N6005 is a processor from the mobile sector, which can also be seen from the associated BGA 1338 socket. The processors level 2 cache is 1.50 megabytes and the level 3 cache is 4.00 megabytes.
The Intel Pentium Silver N6005 is based on a standard core architecture with 4 identical processor cores (codenamed Tremont). The cores have a base clock of 2.00 gigahertz and the maximum turbo clock is 3.30 gigahertz. However, the maximum clock rate is only reached when a single core is utilized, all 4 cores are utilized in parallel, but the maximum clock frequency is still 3.00 gigahertz. The CPU does not support hyperthreading, which means it has 4 cores and 4 threads.
The Intel UHD Graphics of the Jasper Lake architecture with 32 execution units is built into the
Intel Pentium Silver N6005 as the internal graphics unit. This has 256 shader units and the base clock is 450 megahertz. The maximum dynamic clock is 900 megahertz and with this the iGPU achieves an FP32 computing power (single precision) of 922 GigaFLOPS. The graphics unit is manufactured with a structure width of 10 nanometers and was also released in the first quarter of 2021.
The
Intel Pentium Silver N6005 supports the operation of up to 16 gigabytes of DDR4-2933 RAM, of which the graphics unit can take up to 8 gigabytes. The main memory is connected via 2 memory channels, unfortunately Intel does not specify the maximum bandwidth.
The Intel Pentium Silver N6005 supports Linux as well as Windows 10 and Windows 11 as the operating system.
