Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 1700X marked a significant step in the development of high-performance processors. It utilized the then-innovative Summit Ridge (Zen) architecture. This chip offered solid multithreaded performance with its eight physical cores and sixteen threads. It was a very good choice especially for demanding software and comprehensive multitasking.

It was manufactured using a 14nm process, which enabled an efficient design. Another feature was its generous 16 MB Level 3 cache. This contributed significantly to fast data processing and good system response. As part of the PRO line, the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 1700X was also designed for stability and reliability for business environments.

We found that these characteristics made it particularly attractive to professional users. Connectivity via PCIe 3.0 and a maximum memory bandwidth of 43 GB/s ensured versatile connectivity. This processor was a solid foundation for high-performance workstations.
