The Intel Xeon E5-1680 v2 is based on the Ivy Bridge EP architecture. This chip was manufactured in a 22 nm process. It was designed for demanding workloads. With its eight cores and sixteen threads, it still delivers solid computing performance. Particularly noteworthy is the generous 25 MB Level 3 Cache.
