Intel Core i7-13700F
Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The Intel Core i7-13700F has a whopping 16 CPU cores. These are divided into 8 large P cores (Raptor Cove) and 8 smaller E cores (Gracemont) and thus combine the two Intel CPU architectures of the Intel Core i series and Intels Atom architecture.

Overall, the Intel Core i7-13700F can process up to 24 threads simultaneously. It is particularly suitable when larger and more intensive computing power has to be provided frequently. The 8 P cores clock at 2.1 GHz (Turbo: 5.2 GHz). The smaller E cores have a base clock of 1.5 GHz and a maximum of 4.1 GHz.

The Intel Core i7-13700F is based on the 13th Intel Core i generation and can connect up to 128 GB DDR5-5600 RAM. Faster memory modules can also be used with the Intel Core i7-13700F by manually overclocking the memory modules or using Intel XMP 2/3 technology. DDR5-6000 has proven to be a good compromise here.

Depending on the mainboard, the Intel Core i7-13700F can also work with DDR4 memory, which is usually cheaper than DDR5 memory. The loss of speed by using DDR4 memory can be between 5 and 15 percent.

A dedicated graphics card can be connected to the system via PCIe 5.0 (backwards compatible). The Intel Core i7-13700F does not have an integrated graphics card (iGPU) itself and is therefore dependent on the installation of an external graphics card.

The Intel Core i7-13700F is manufactured using the Intel 7 manufacturing process, which is a highly optimized 10 nm process. In comparison, however, it is more similar to TSMCs 7 nm process in terms of structure density and energy consumption, which explains Intels naming.

The new Raptor Lake S processors, which also include the Intel Core i7-13700F, have an enlarged cache structure. Specifically, the Intel Core i7-13700F has 24 MB level 2 and 30 MB level 3 cache.
  • Strong multi-core performance
  • Good single-core performance
  • Future-proof PCIe 5.0 support
  • Generous L2 and L3 Cache
