The AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 2500U is a mobile processor that was commonly used in notebooks of the time. This chip is based on the first generation of the Zen architecture, internally known as Raven Ridge. It was manufactured using the 14nm process. This enabled balanced energy efficiency. A strong plus of this processor is the integrated graphics unit AMD Radeon RX Vega 8.
