The Intel Core i5-6300HQ, a mobile processor from Intel, is based on the Skylake H architecture. It was manufactured using the advanced 14 nm process. This enabled remarkable energy efficiency, which was especially important for laptops. One of its strengths at the time was the integrated Intel HD Graphics 530.

It handled everyday tasks, such as media playback or office applications, without any problems. For these purposes, it offered absolutely sufficient image performance. We noticed back then how well this combination worked. Its four cores and 6 MB Level 3 cache provided a solid foundation for multitasking.

The combination of cores and cache made for a pleasant working experience. The memory bandwidth of 34 GB/s was also perfectly adequate for a mobile processor of this class. It was a reliable partner in many notebooks at the time. To this day, the Intel Core i5-6300HQ offers reliable performance for office work or web browsing.

It still handles light multimedia tasks without any problems. It is still a good choice for such scenarios.
