The Intel Core i7-3630QM is a mobile processor from Intel that was once a solid choice for laptops. It is based on the Ivy Bridge H architecture and was manufactured using the then-modern 22-nanometer process. At its core, this chip offers a quad-core configuration with eight threads. This provided remarkably good multitasking performance.

Many users appreciated the ability to run multiple applications smoothly at the same time. This was by no means a given for mobile devices of its time. Another positive feature is the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000. This graphics solution was perfectly adequate for everyday tasks at the time. It enabled watching HD videos and even playing some less demanding, older titles.

The existing 6 MB Level 3 Cache also noticeably contributed to the overall performance. This helped the processor process data efficiently and quickly. The Intel Core i7-3630QM is still functional today. It can handle basic applications and light office tasks surprisingly well. Anyone who wants to continue using their older laptop will find a proven component here.
