The Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor, manufactured using the 14 nm process, is based on the Kaby Lake Y architecture. It was specifically designed for a generation of ultra-thin and lightweight devices. A significant advantage of this chip was its extremely low power consumption. This allowed manufacturers to often forgo active cooling fans.

Devices with this processor thus remained pleasantly quiet during operation. At the same time, users benefited from considerable battery life, which was crucial on the go. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 615 was sufficient for many applications at the time. It still provides a good foundation for basic visual tasks.

This includes smooth video playback and the editing of simple documents. With 4 MB of L3 cache, the processor supports daily requirements. It is still a reasonable choice for simple office work. It also still offers solid performance for streaming or surfing the Internet. We see it as a reliable companion for tasks that do not require high computing power.
