The Intel Xeon E5-1630 v3 was once a remarkable choice for professional workstations. Based on the Haswell E architecture, it delivered very solid performance for various applications. Especially for tasks that benefit from multiple cores, it proved to be an extremely reliable partner. Its production using the then-advanced 22-nanometer process stood for efficiency.
