The Intel Core i7-2670QM is a processor that once played an important role in the world of notebooks. It is based on the proven Sandy Bridge H architecture and offered a robust foundation for a variety of applications at the time. Manufacturing using the 32-nm process was state-of-the-art at the time and contributed to its good energy efficiency.

With its four cores and the ability to process eight threads, the Intel Core i7-2670QM delivered considerable multicore performance. This made it an attractive option for users who went beyond simple office work. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 handled the basic image output, which was perfectly adequate for everyday tasks such as media playback or surfing the Internet.

In addition, 6 MB Level 3 cache supported the fast processing of data. Although this processor is no longer new, it can still impress for many less demanding applications. It can be seen that it is still a solid and reliable choice for systems that do not require absolute top-end hardware.
