The Intel Pentium G4520 processor is a representative of the Skylake S architecture. It was manufactured in the 14 nm manufacturing process. This contributed to good energy efficiency at the time. We consider it a solid choice for price-conscious users. Particularly noteworthy is its integrated graphics unit, the Intel HD Graphics 530.

This made separate graphics cards unnecessary for many systems. For everyday tasks such as surfing the Internet, the performance is still passable. It also offers sufficient capacity for emails or simple office applications. Editing documents or streaming media content is effortless for the chip. The 3 MB Level 3 cache supports the fast processing of data.

A maximum memory bandwidth of 34 GB/s was well-dimensioned for standard applications. The support of PCIe 3.0 was an important standard at the time. We were actually pleasantly surprised at how well and reliably this processor still performs its service. It remains a rock-solid option for simple home or office systems.

These should not place high demands.
