The Intel Core i7-4900MQ was a notable mobile processor in its time. It belongs to the Haswell H architecture family and was manufactured in a 22 nm process. As part of the then Core i7 series, it offered high computing power for mobile systems. We were surprised how well it still handles multiple tasks simultaneously.

With its four cores and eight threads, it delivered good performance in parallel applications. The 8 MB Level 3 cache was advantageous for fast data access and improved overall performance. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 graphics card also reliably supported everyday tasks. Although it no longer belongs to the latest generation, it can breathe new life into older laptops.

It remains a cost-effective option for standard applications such as Office or browsing the internet. This processor still handles these tasks surprisingly well and offers a solid foundation.
