Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The Intel Core i3-3220 was a popular and solid choice for many desktop systems at the time. It was based on the Ivy Bridge S architecture. Manufactured using the then-modern 22-nanometer process, it offered a good mix of processing power and energy efficiency. This processor, equipped with two cores and four threads, proved to be extremely reliable for everyday tasks.

Many users appreciated its ability to handle basic office applications and web browsing smoothly. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 2500 was a clear advantage for PCs back then. It eliminated the need to buy a separate graphics card. This was especially useful for systems without high graphics requirements.

This significantly reduced the purchase cost. It also simplified the construction of PCs. With its 3 MB L3 cache, the processor helped programs start quickly. Multitasking worked smoothly within its capabilities. It may not have delivered record values. But it was always a reliable partner for home use or in the office.

Its moderate heat generation was also a plus. This led to stable systems.
  • Reliability for everyday tasks
  • Integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 2500)
  • Good balance of power and efficiency
  • 3 MB L3 cache for smooth operation
