Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The Intel Atom Z3775, a processor from the era of energy-efficient mobile devices, is still well remembered. This chip belongs to Intel's Bay Trail architecture. It was manufactured using the advanced 22-nanometer process. Specifically designed for tablets and very compact netbooks, it provided a surprisingly solid foundation there.

Remarkable energy efficiency was certainly one of its greatest strengths. This feature allowed device manufacturers to develop completely fanless systems. At the same time, an impressively long battery life could be guaranteed. The integrated graphics solution, the Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail GT1), was absolutely sufficient for the requirements at the time.

It ensured appealing and smooth display during media playback. It also showed good performance in everyday web browsing. With its 2 MB Level 3 Cache, the Intel Atom Z3775 could handle basic tasks quickly. Although the maximum memory bandwidth was 17 GB/s, this fully met the expectations of the time.

Even today, this processor, once found in many affordable devices, can reliably perform its service for truly light digital applications. We consider the Intel Atom Z3775 to be a proven and modest companion for basic digital activities.
