The MediaTek Helio A20 was designed as a rock-solid processor for the entry-level segment. It was manufactured using a 12 nm process, which promised good energy efficiency for its time and supported its operation. Inside this chip works the proven Cortex-A53 architecture. This configuration enables consistently reliable performance for most everyday tasks.

We see that it was well-positioned for devices where stable operation was more important than raw computing power. The integrated graphics unit, a PowerVR GE8300, is not a powerhouse.
