The Intel Celeron 3215U once represented a well-considered solution for entry-level notebooks. It's based on the Kaby Lake U architecture and was manufactured in the efficient 14 nm process. This allowed for particularly energy-saving operation, which was crucial for mobile devices. For everyday tasks such as surfing the Internet, writing emails or word processing, it always offered reliable performance.

We found that it also easily handled basic multimedia tasks. The integrated Intel HD Graphics (Broadwell GT1) was a great advantage here. It enabled video playback and screen output without the need for a separate graphics card. This processor is designed for systems that need a balanced balance between acquisition costs and functionality.

With its 2 MB Level 3 cache, it efficiently supported basic arithmetic operations. Its real strength lay in providing a stable and low-maintenance platform. Many notebooks benefited from its low heat generation and generally low power consumption. This contributed significantly to extending battery life.

It remains a viable option for simpler applications where peak performance is not the top priority.
