The Intel Atom Z3795 represented a significant step for mobile devices at the time. It is based on the Bay Trail architecture and was manufactured using the 22-nanometer process. This manufacturing was a key factor in its remarkable energy efficiency. Especially in tablets and netbooks, it enabled long battery life.

This significantly improved mobile use. The integrated Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail GT1) enabled smooth video playback. Simple web browsing and basic office tasks were also easily possible with it. The processor was designed to operate reliably with low power consumption. It offered surprisingly good multimedia performance for its class.

Its 2 MB Level 3 Cache helped to complete everyday tasks quickly. The Intel Atom Z3795 embodied the ideal of an economical yet capable processor at the time. It was an excellent choice for light applications in slim devices. We see it as an example of successful efficiency in its segment.
