Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The Intel Atom N2800 is a processor based on the Cedarview architecture. Manufactured in a 32 nm process, it was known for its high energy efficiency. This characteristic made it ideal for netbooks and very compact systems. Its low heat generation often allowed for passive cooling. This led to silent devices, a clear advantage in many environments.

The integrated Intel GMA 3600 graphics reliably handled basic display tasks. Although the Intel Atom N2800 was not designed for demanding modern software, it still finds applications today. It is suitable for specific niche areas where low power consumption is crucial. It can be found in older systems that are still used for simple tasks such as word processing or light web browsing.

We appreciate its longevity and ability to reliably work in the background. The maximum memory bandwidth of 9 GB/s supports its role for undemanding applications. This chip was always designed for basic computing. It delivers solid, albeit modest, performance. Its focus was always on efficiency rather than raw computing power.
