Intel Processor N150 vs Intel Celeron N5100

Last updated:
The Intel Celeron N5100 (Jasper Lake, 10 nm) is intended for energy-efficient systems and basic tasks.

It features Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Jasper Lake) with a maximum memory bandwidth of 47 GB/s. The Intel Processor N150 (Twin Lake, 7 nm) is a newer development for compact, power-saving applications.

Its integrated UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake) has a maximum memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s. In single-core and multi-core performance, the Intel Processor N150 significantly outperforms the Intel Celeron N5100. Benchmarks show considerably higher computing power for the Intel Processor N150, making it the superior choice for productivity and system responsiveness.

The Intel Celeron N5100 is sufficient for basic requirements but clearly falls short in terms of performance. For gaming, both processors are only very limitedly suitable. The Intel Processor N150 offers a marginal advantage in extremely light games thanks to its newer architecture and higher CPU performance, despite the Intel Celeron N5100's higher memory bandwidth.

Power consumption, TDP, and market prices are not available. In summary, for better overall performance and future-proofing, the Intel Processor N150 is the clear recommendation. The Intel Celeron N5100 is only sensible with an extremely limited budget and minimal performance requirements.
