Intel Celeron N5105 vs Intel Processor N200

Last updated:
The Intel Celeron N5105 (Jasper Lake architecture, 10 nm) is a quad-core processor with four threads. It is designed for cost-effective mini-PCs and thin clients that handle basic computing tasks.

The Intel Processor N200 (Alder Lake N architecture, 10 nm) is also a quad-core processor with four threads, aimed at energy-efficient entry-level systems with improved performance.

In performance tests, the Intel Processor N200 shows clearly superior computing performance, especially in Geekbench 6 and in multi-core tasks in Cinebench R23. The single-core performance in Cinebench R23 is comparable. Neither is suitable for gaming; the Intel Processor N200 offers better graphics performance with its Intel UHD Graphics (32 EUs) than the Intel Celeron N5105 (Intel UHD Graphics, 24 EUs).

The Intel Processor N200 is more energy-efficient than the Intel Celeron N5105 (10 watts) with a TDP of 6 watts, making it ideal for compact systems. Both CPUs are inexpensive. For a small additional cost, the Intel Processor N200 offers significantly more performance and efficiency, making it the more recommended choice for most everyday tasks.

The Intel Celeron N5105 remains an option for projects with minimal performance requirements and the strictest budget.
