Intel Celeron J1900 vs Intel Celeron N5095

Last updated:
The Intel Celeron J1900 is based on the Bay Trail architecture and was developed for cost-effective desktop systems and industrial applications.

Manufactured using a 22 nm process, this processor features four cores and four threads. In benchmarks, the Intel Celeron J1900 shows lower performance than the comparison model in both single-core and multi-core calculations. The integrated Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail GT1) is designed for simple office tasks but offers little reserve for games.

With a low Thermal Design Power, energy consumption is limited, which often enables passive cooling systems. With support for PCIe 2.0, a memory bandwidth of 21 GB/s, and 2 MB Level 3 cache, the technical basis is solid. This processor is suitable for basic tasks. The Intel Celeron N5095 utilizes the Jasper Lake architecture and targets compact mini PCs as well as entry-level desktops.

It is manufactured using a 10 nm process with four cores and four threads. In comparison, the Intel Celeron N5095 provides significantly higher computing performance in all areas. Thanks to the Intel UHD Graphics 16 EUs (Jasper Lake) and the higher memory bandwidth, graphical representation is improved, allowing the Intel Celeron N5095 to perform better in games, although performance remains limited to undemanding titles.

With PCIe 3.0, a memory bandwidth of 47 GB/s, and 4 MB Level 3 cache, the model offers an enhanced infrastructure. The Thermal Design Power enables good efficiency. Due to the advantageous price-performance ratio, the Intel Celeron N5095 is recommended for office applications and media playback.
