The Intel Core i7-970, based on the advanced Gulftown architecture, represented a remarkable development. Manufactured using the then-modern 32nm process, this processor offered a solid foundation. Particularly noteworthy is its ability to work with six cores and twelve threads simultaneously.

This enabled smooth handling of demanding applications and extensive multitasking scenarios. Users who needed high computing power found a reliable solution here. The generous 12 MB Level 3 cache contributed significantly to fast data processing. The Level 2 cache with 2 MB also noticeably supported the overall performance.
