The Intel Celeron G1840 is a processor originally designed for basic computing tasks. It belongs to the Ivy Bridge S architecture and was manufactured using the then-advanced 22nm process. This ensured solid energy efficiency for its category. Its integrated Intel HD Graphics (Haswell GT1) was able to handle everyday display tasks effortlessly.

This made the processor an attractive and cost-effective option for office applications and light web browsing. With 2 MB Level 3 Cache, it offered basic support for faster data access. Furthermore, the Intel Celeron G1840 supported the PCIe 3.0 standard. This represented good connectivity for the time.

The maximum memory bandwidth was 21 GB/s. This value was perfectly adequate for the intended areas of use. Although it is no longer the newest, this Celeron can still do its job. It is well suited for simple, reliable working environments. We think it is a robust choice for computers that do not require high computing power.
