Benchmarks & Specs

Last updated:
The Intel Core i7-875K is a notable processor from an earlier era. It is based on Intel's proven Lynnfield architecture. One of its main features is the unlocked multiplier. This allowed experienced users to overclock the processor flexibly. Thus, the performance could be well adapted for demanding applications.

Another strength was the implemented Hyper-Threading technology. This allowed multiple tasks to be processed efficiently at the same time. The processor also offered a generous 8 MB Level 3 cache. This contributed significantly to fast data processing. It was manufactured in the 45 nm process, which was advanced at the time.

Support for PCIe 2.0 was also standard at the time and offered good connectivity options. With a maximum memory bandwidth of 17 GB/s, it was well equipped for its time. We fondly remember its solid overall performance for many applications.
