The Intel Core i7-7560U was once a crucial mobile processor from Intel. It was based on the Kaby Lake U architecture and manufactured using the proven 14 nm process. This enabled the construction of particularly slim notebooks, which at the same time offered a decent battery life. A clear highlight was the integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640.

This delivered remarkably good graphics performance for a notebook in this device class. This meant that the processor was ideally equipped for the smooth playback of multimedia content. Even some basic games ran quite passably on it. Even the occasional editing of photos or cutting of small video clips was easily possible with it.

For everyday applications, the Intel Core i7-7560U still delivers absolutely solid performance to this day. These include, for example, surfing the internet, classic office work and streaming videos. The 4 MB Level-3 cache also contributed significantly to smooth data processing. We thought it was an excellent choice at the time for mobile devices.

These specifically sought a good balance of computing power and energy efficiency on the go.
