The Intel Core i7-6785R was a remarkable processor from the Skylake S family. It was manufactured using the advanced 14-nm process. One of its greatest strengths was its exceptionally powerful integrated graphics solution at the time. The Intel Iris Pro Graphics 580 offered unexpectedly high graphics performance for integrated GPUs.

Many were surprised by the visual tasks this GPU could handle. Even playing some titles was possible with acceptable frame rates. This was really not the norm for a processor with integrated graphics. The processor also had a generous Level 3 cache of 8 MB. This contributed significantly to fast data processing.

The Intel Core i7-6785R delivered very solid computing power for most everyday tasks. Even more demanding applications ran quite smoothly on it. We note that this chip continues to reliably perform its service in many systems. It created a very good balance of CPU performance and graphics capability.

It was an excellent option for compact PCs and all-in-one devices. It impressively demonstrated the potential that integrated graphics solutions can offer.
