The Intel Core i7-4510U is a processor of the Haswell U architecture. It was specifically developed for mobile devices. As part of the Intel Core i7 series, it offered solid performance upon its introduction. This was well-suited for most everyday tasks. Particularly noteworthy is its good energy efficiency.

This made it a good choice for notebooks. A long battery life was often ensured as a result. The 22-nm manufacturing process further supported this efficiency. Another practical feature is the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400. This graphics solution enabled the display of content. A separate graphics card was not necessary.

This was perfectly adequate for simple office applications and playing videos at the time. The Intel Core i7-4510U can still be used in many older laptops today. It is then suitable for basic tasks. The 4 MB Level 3 Cache supported the overall system response. This formed a very attractive overall package for mobile computers back then.
