The Intel Core i5-4310U, manufactured using the 22 nm process, was a widespread processor for notebooks at the time. Its Haswell U architecture clearly focused on energy efficiency. This made it an ideal candidate for mobile devices. We were particularly impressed by its low power consumption.

This led to a noticeably longer battery life for laptops. Moreover, the Intel Core i5-4310U offered an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400. This graphics unit was perfectly adequate for most everyday tasks. Media playback and web browsing were easily possible with it. The processor also offered sufficient performance for typical office applications back then.

With its 3 MB Level 3 Cache, it supported smooth operation. We often saw how well it proved itself in everyday use. For basic applications, it is still a viable option today. It was not a high-end processor, but a reliable companion for many years.
