The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX was always a remarkable processor. It was specifically designed for the most demanding tasks. It was able to optimally support professional users. A major strength was its high number of cores. This enabled the simultaneous processing of many complex processes.

Based on the Colfax (Zen+) architecture, it was technically up to date. Manufacturing in the 12 nm process contributed to its efficiency. Its generous cache is particularly noteworthy. With 12 MB Level 2 cache and a whopping 64 MB Level 3 cache, it kept frequently used data readily available.

This significantly sped up workflows. The maximum memory bandwidth of 94 GB/s was also important. It ensured rapid data exchange with the memory. In addition, the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX offered extensive connectivity options. Thanks to PCIe 3.0, numerous expansion cards could be used. This processor remains a reliable choice even today.
