The AMD A4-3400 was developed as an Accelerated Processing Unit (APU). It combined processing cores with a graphics unit on a single chip. Based on the Llano architecture of the time, it offered a well-thought-out and compact solution. Manufactured using the 32-nanometer process, this processor was designed for basic computing tasks.

A clear advantage was the integrated AMD Radeon HD 6410D graphics unit. This often saved the purchase of a separate graphics card for everyday applications. The A4-3400 was therefore ideal for office work or smooth media playback. We found it to be a solid choice for systems that valued simplicity. In addition, it offered excellent value for money for its class.

It provided a reliable basis for common software and browsers. The combination of CPU and GPU on one die was advanced for its time. This made the AMD A4-3400 a practical and cost-effective option. It was particularly useful for users with primary requirements for an everyday PC.
