The
AMD A4-3330MX was a remarkable development for mobile computers. This processor, manufactured using the 32 nm process, was based on the
Llano architecture. With the
AMD A4-3330MX, AMD's vision of an Accelerated Processing Unit became a reality. Particularly noteworthy is the integrated graphics unit, the AMD Radeon HD 6480G.
It allowed users to smoothly use basic graphics applications and light games. An additional dedicated graphics card was therefore often unnecessary. This was an important advantage for many notebooks at the time. The combination of CPU and GPU on a single chip offered a balanced performance. The AMD A4-3330MX thus handled everyday tasks such as surfing or word processing solidly.
A Level 3 cache of 2 MB supported fast data access. The maximum memory bandwidth of the
AMD A4-3330MX reached a solid 26 GB/s. Even today, a system with the
AMD A4-3330MX can be sufficient for basic office work. We were quite pleased with how robust this APU functioned over time. The AMD A4-3330MX was a budget-friendly choice for many users.
