The Intel Xeon E-2124G was introduced as part of the Coffee Lake S architecture for workstations and small servers.

Manufactured using the 14 nm process, this processor offers four cores without Hyper-Threading. In terms of computing power, the Intel Xeon E-2124G shows higher single-core and multi-core performance compared to the competitor, as the clock frequencies are designed for more stable continuous loads.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics P630 is suitable for simple graphical tasks but is hardly sufficient for gaming. In gaming scenarios, it offers a theoretically better starting point due to higher clock speeds. With a TDP of 71 watts, the power requirement is higher, requiring active cooling. Despite a missing Level 2 cache, the 8 MB Level 3 cache supports data processing.

It provides a solid foundation for users seeking reliability and ECC memory support. The Intel Processor N100 is based on the Alder Lake N architecture and uses the more modern 10 nm process.

It is primarily aimed at budget-conscious users and efficient mini-PCs. With four efficiency cores, performance in benchmarks is noticeably lower than the Xeon, especially in demanding applications. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake) offers modern video decoders but is also not designed for gaming.

The focus is on minimal energy consumption, reflected in a very low TDP. Despite the lower raw performance, the Intel Processor N100 scores with an attractive price-performance ratio for everyday office work or media playback. It is the better choice for silent, power-saving systems, while the memory bandwidth of 38 GB/s, a 4 MB Level 2 cache and a 6 MB Level 3 cache are sufficient for these purposes.
