Intel Celeron N3450 vs Intel Celeron N4100

The Intel Celeron N3450 and Intel Celeron N4100 are Intel processors for cost-effective, low-power devices such as netbooks and entry-level laptops, designed for basic computing needs.

Both CPUs are manufactured using the 14nm process. The Intel Celeron N3450 (Braswell) has four cores and 2 MB of Level 3 cache. The Intel Celeron N4100 (Gemini Lake) also offers four cores with 4 MB of Level 3 cache. The Intel Celeron N4100 delivers noticeably higher computing performance than the Intel Celeron N3450 in single and multi-core tasks, leading to smoother operation.

The Intel Celeron N3450 offers basic performance. For gaming, both processors are very limited. The Intel Celeron N3450 uses Intel HD Graphics 500, while the Intel Celeron N4100 uses Intel UHD Graphics 600. The latter offers slightly better graphics performance but is only suitable for undemanding or older games at low settings.

Both Celeron processors are characterized by very low power consumption. They are designed for maximum energy efficiency, enabling long battery life and use in passively cooled systems.
