The Apple M2, manufactured using the 5 nm process, is an Apple-developed processor with a 20 MB Level 2 cache and a maximum memory bandwidth of 102 GB/s.

Its integrated graphics unit, the Apple M2 (10 Core), is designed for demanding visual tasks. In comparison, the Apple A19 is manufactured using the more advanced 3 nm process, features a 6 MB Level 2 cache and a memory bandwidth of 68 GB/s, complemented by an Apple A19 (5 GPU Cores) graphics unit.

In terms of performance, the Apple A19 shows higher single-core performance than the Apple M2, which predestines it for applications with a high demand for fast single-core processing. For multi-core tasks, however, the Apple M2 significantly outperforms the Apple A19, highlighting its suitability for complex workloads and multitasking.

For gaming scenarios, the Apple M2 offers superior performance thanks to its higher number of GPU cores and greater memory bandwidth. The 3 nm manufacturing process of the Apple A19 also indicates improved energy efficiency. The Apple M2 uses PCIe 4.0 for connectivity.

Specific market prices for both processors are not available as they are sold as integral components of Apple products.
