In terms of computing power, the Intel Core i5-12450H lags measurably behind the competition in single-core load, but shows slight advantages in multi-core performance.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 12th Gen (48 EU) is designed for simple graphic tasks, while additional hardware is usually required for gaming. Due to the higher Thermal Design Power, the processor requires active cooling and has a higher energy requirement. The price-performance ratio is balanced, as the chip is available in many affordable systems.
